Caravan Access All Areas

The classic Caravan lineup in concert at Nottingham recorded and filmed for ITV Central’s Bedrock television series in 1990 will go on sale in a deluxe remastered DVD and CD set with bonus content from February 2nd 2015. The release will be distributed by Demon Records on behalf of Elm Street Media who are fully supporting the band via a licensed contract with ITV Studios.

This is the first time that a video recording for tracks ‘In The Land of Grey and Pink’ and ‘If I Could Do It All Over Again, I’d Do It All Over You’ from that night will be available on home video. Neither tracks were broadcast on ITV in 1991 and were thought to have been lost.

Previous unauthorised releases of the Bedrock recording on DVD from Classic Rock Legends, Classic Rock Productions, Ragnarock Films, Sandbeach Holdings, DVD Limited, American Legends Limited did not include the two listed tracks and were released/reissued a number of times without license.

No royalties were received or permission given for any products including the audio CD versions issued by these companies in addition to releases from Storming, Plastic Head, 4Worlds Media and Northworld Recordings.

So, recycle those old bootlegs and enjoy the full remastered concert with exclusive bonus content. Keep a watch out for a planned vinyl release in the near future as well…

Also as an added bonus, there is the lovely fan interview with Richard Sinclair made at the time of the previously scheduled DVD release from Elm Street Media, in which Richard discusses the Bedrock series and how it brought Caravan back onto the scene:
